Ode To Love
Slowly Disappearing
I laughed, now I cry,
Yet I whisper my dreams.
But the whisper's so soft,
Nothing's all there seems.
The thrill of hope,
Long lost to fear,
Is still a glimmer,
In a sea of drear.
I'm drowning in tears,
The whisper is all that's left.
And as I strain to hear,
I'm slowly turning deaf.
I'm lost in the dark,
Of my approaching fears.
When the spark is gone,
Hope disappears.
