What is this I hear today?That I am not okay you say
Whispers break the silence of my solitary gates of space
"But that's just fine.", I say
I'll have my time with you and that's okay
My friend, 'coz I got you second hand
What did I ever feel for you?
Who's not the prettiest one I ever knew
Maybe it's the way you look at me,
The way you smile, the say you speak
"But that's just well", I say --- not really!
My friend, 'coz I got you second hand
As this poem comes to a close, by this time I don't suppose you like me now
"But that's alright", I say
'coz you didn't love me in the first place anyway....
